New GP at our practice

Starting October 5, 2026, Dr. Ibtisam Jasim will join our team.

Dr. Jasim studied medicine at KU Leuven, where she also completed her GP training.

She will be taking over from Dr. Gelderblom, who is retiring on March 31, 2027.

Over the coming months, Dr. Dubejko, Dr. Jasim, and Dr. Gelderblom will work together at the practice, ensuring ample time for a smooth handover and introductions. This approach ensures the continuity of your care.

Appointments

  • all consultations are by appointment
  • you can make an appointment  with the general practioners  online on the website or with the secretary on 02 688 23 00
  • we don’t accept new patients
  • for appointments with Mrs. Vanderkerken call 0468 12 50 40
  • a separate appointment is needed for each person
  • please bring your identity card
  • if you miss your appointment twice, we will charge an administration fee of 20 euros at the next visit (not reimbursed by the insurance company).

Home visits

  • as there are better facilities for examining and treating patients at the surgery, home visits are only for people who cannot leave their house for medical reasons and only in Wezembeek-Oppem
  • please call before 11.00am whenever possible to ask for a home visit

Prescriptions and certificates

  • for repeat prescriptions you have to make an appointment; you will get enough prescriptions until your next control visit
  • for certificates and forms you also have to make an appointment

Out of hours service

  • from 19.00 to  7.00h , during the weekend and general holidays you can contact the doctor on call for urgent problems, call  1733
  • in case of emergency you can always call  112
